A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office

Filghts? Certainly no international one anyways, you'd lose it!

Bag? I don't carry my trustworthy Wave in the bag but at all
times in its leather pouch attached to my belt.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

In the US you should be checking the TSA regulations on the airlines' websites. That's going to give you more reliable information.

That said, (most?) Leatherman tools have serious blades, which isn't going to be okay. And then, why on earth would you need that while on the plane? Put it in checked baggage.

This would be a big no at security. You can put it in checked luggage but not carry on.

For some reason I thought it was over 3" you couldn't bring.  Mine is in my checked bag, so this has never come up before.

I went digging:  https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/items/pocket-knife

Turns out I was way off.

+1. It is generally a judgment call by whoever is checking your carry-on, but they will confiscate anything that has a 'blade", even a small nail file. My SOG is in the checked bag.

These days, your better off putting below in checked bag so you don't risk getting it taken

Hey that thing is slick, just ordered one.  I needed a new knife in my camera bag.

These are such well made tools.  But as you have heard already, bringing this on as a carry on, will be a no go.
