FeiyuTech Feiyu G6 Plus 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer

I was just looking and see you can use a Sony a7 on this thing, any chance will it hold a Canon EOS R?

They are similar in weight.  My problem with gimbals is that they are so big a bulky for the most part.  I want something small, but something that won't have the motors straining.

I don't think so, that looks like it would be a bit over the top for that gimbal.

Too big for that gimbal if you want to stick with that brand, try their AK2000.

I almost bought one of these for my Sony Cyber Shot, but then started reading on the Wee Bill Lab gimbal then I never pulled the trigger.  Both get decent reviews for gimbals.  The benefit to the Wee Bill Lab is the underslung grip you get, and with the G6 the interface as I read from others is easier.

I don't think so, watch this video.  This guy mounts a Sony A7R III with Sigma 16mm lens on it.  Sony is 657g and Canon is 660g.  It should be OK.  The guy even says it seems too do better with heavier cameras.  He just ran out of adjustment space.

I'd like to see him moving a little more with that Sony on it.  He was walking only.  I would be curious how that holds up when some quicker movement to see if that gimbal survives.
