If you were starting over in photography, what gear would you go with?

Let's say, you had no budget limitations in reason.  Would you go with with the same fear, or would you go another direction?

No budget limitations?

I would just take the same decisions but in one day
instead of over the years… like a real chritsmas. :P

Light is free… capturing it is not!

What ever is the latest and greatest at the time.  So either Z7 or D850

Exactly what I have now. Despite the fact that Nikon DSLRs can't have f/1.2 lenses.

In 2-3 years, once Nikon gets going with the Z, and has more interesting lenses, then my answer would be different.

As a pro I would start with the Fuji GFX 100.  As an amateur I would choose what I use now - the Fuji X system.

Starting and knowing what I know now?
I'd stay Nikon.....They're slow at times but always deliver the goods.

Why so serious?

No budget? I'd get a Canon 5Ds and 5D MK4 or their mirrorless equivalents and their accompanying holy trinity lenses plus a tilt shift and a 2x tele-converter. An Autel Evo for videography, a GoPro Hero7 for vlogging, RRS tripod and ballhead and a Shimoda 60L pack.
