Rode Wireless GO w/ Lavalier vs Rode VideoMic Pro+

For run and gunning video and looking for lightest package.  If I went with the Rode wireless GO with their Lavalier mic, would I be compromising any audio vs going with the Rode VideoMic Pro+?

Can't comment on either, I just ordered a Shure VP83F.  It has recorder built into it.  I compared it against the Rode ones, but had a friend suggest this one.  Honestly, there are a number of recommended mics.  You might want to consider Deity too.

Hope I helped

They're completely different types of microphone so it depends what you need it for.

^^^ What he said.

Apples and oranges. If you want suggestions, you might clarify your definition of "run and gun", and why you think a lapel mic makes any sense for (what most of us perceive as) that type of activity.

Just looking at a video on that Rode Go, dang those things are small.  I wonder how that works in the wind?
