Have you had a memory card fail before?

Does washing a card in with my laundry count?  Technically, that card worked after, so no for me.

That sounds more like a compatibility issue than a bad card. 


It was the recommended Sony card, so I’m not sure. It ust started freezing up on me a few days after I started using it. I couldn’t preview photos and it had other issues. 

I tried reformatting without luck. Maybe it became corrupt?

Just a Transcend card 2 years ago.  They swapped it out, even though it was out of warranty.

LOL I was thinking about the one card that I had failed, well technically I lost it.   :(
