Manual camera controls in iPhone X?

Seeing the other thread here about the iPhone 11 had me thinking, how can you access manual camera controls from your iPhone X?  Can it be done?  RAW files?

Appreciate the help.

There's an app for that. More than one, I think.

I have used ProCam and it worked decent. It was on my 8 though, but believe it has been improved upon more for the X. Remember that Apple doesn’t like their customers having too much control, so I’m not sure how much you can adjust. I believe they are fixed apertures and focal lengths, so you can only adjust shutter speed and ISO.

Try Camera + 2

You can have full manual control including focus too.

Never really cared to use my iPhone in manual mode so honestly can't answer this one.

I have wondered why there is no manual control.  So why doesn't Apple want  you to have manual control?  Seems to me, that not everyone would want to use this, however those that would could be trilled.  Isn't Apple always trying to market to film makers?

I think it would be more novelty than something I would use as a professional tool.  Just saying.
