Photographing Banff during winter months?

Evening peeps.   Have any of you gone up to Banff during the winter months?  How accessible is everything and are there stunning shots to be taken?  Or just best to wait for spring?

The Rockies or the Alps, both the same in winter in two ways.

1, After snow, give a chance to road brigades to clear them and
since winter is a high season, it is done very fast.

2, Snowy mountains are quite spectacular under the Sun.

I'd rather go to Banff in winter, major roads are open quickly.

Why so serious?

Can you get access to Moraine Lake during the winter months?  Because isn't that a small road that heads up there?

Isn't Banff in the Rockies?

OK great, I’ve seen a number of great shots during spring as the snow melts, but never during the winter.  I’m reading my original question and chuckling at “are there stunning shots to be found”.  Course there is.  But how accessible was the real question.

Thanks for your answers.

Just Google'd that.  Man, there are some crazy shots to be taken up there.
