Have you lost a lens hood from walking around?

Well this sucks and it's not the first time this has happened.  Walking around and lost another lens hood from the camera and lens hanging from my Holdfast Money maker. I guess the friction from me walking slowly starts to loosen the hood??

The kicker?  These lens hoods are expensive!

I've lost them hiking, broken them, took them off for filter use and forgot them and a few years ago sat on one...kaput! Short of super gluing them on (not advised) I have no answers.....:(

Nope. Never lost one walking, sitting, driving or hiking.

It's funny how much they charge for a small chunk of plastic these days!

It happens, but you just need to keep your ears open to that 'sound' when it hits the ground so you aren't out a lens hood.
