‘One-in-a-million’ shot of a kingfisher snapped by amateur photographer

This article was just forwarded to me.  Interesting photo from an amateur photographer.  It's nice, amazing actually from a composition and color standpoint, however kind of looks noisy to me a little.

I saw it fine, and it is a good catch.....

Why so serious?

Got it!

Congratulations to the guy… very cool. :P

I did get this year more Kingfisher than ever before
in many different action scenes and when perched.
Exciting every time because challenging.

Great timing, impressive shot.  But not sure I would call this a one in a million shot.  Not trying to take anything away from the photographer, it's a solid shot.
