Sony to acquire Nikon Imaging

1 month 2 weeks ago #671389 by Fess Walker
YouTube thought it would be good for me to watch Jarin Polins video this morning on his 2020 predictions, and a comment he made about the idea that Nikon will continue to struggle and what if Sony were to purchase Nikon Imaging assets.

While I don't see this happening.  Well not any time soon.  But though thought is infections.  Can you imagine?

LOL  Froknows photo

I just watched the video.  He mentions Nikon will continue to struggle in 2020.  Or at least that is what I picked up from his Nikon forecast

Jared Polin is a putz, and is only interested in attracting eyes to sell ads to make money.

I can't take that guy serious.  I think Nikon has its challenges, but it's a legacy brand, they'll figure things out.

The last time I saw this nonsense I checked the company's annual reports.  They have had a reduction in revenue and profits but they are still profitable.

ALL makers had profit drops, Canon and Sony much more than Nikon in total dollars. Having 22 billion profit in '18 and "only" eight billion in '19, on DSLRs only is NOT a loss.

Nope there are a few sites I avoid like the plague, that is one of them.  I wouldn't pay much attention to that till we see it in the news.
