Do you upload your photos to any stock photo sites?

Which ones would you recommend?

Can you make decent money on these sort of sites these days?

I don't recommend any, but I suggest you look through the photos they select to see what you're up against.
I did some stock photography a few years ago and never made enough to get a PP deposit....

Why so serious?

No way… no more… not ever.

I did business with an image bank in the days but the system
went down the drain with the internet for me. Sure I use the
newer technologies but in my way and to my profit.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I just made two sales on 500px!

One was for $0.04, another for... $0.04.

One of them was licensed last year for $50.

I need to pull my images from 500px. Damn new owners.

Seriously, $0.04?

If so and the other for $50?  Why the huge spread?

Because 500px got bought out by some company based in China, and Getty has changed everything. I'm not sure where the blame lies, but I'm willing to bet it's the new owners. I've not looked into it further.

Not in YEARS!  There was a window when you could make money with stock photography, however when digital took off, this window got smaller and smaller to know it's nonexistent.

Wasn't me :)
