Have any of you astrophotographer seen this thing?  I was talking to a friend a few weeks ago about wanting to get into astrophotography.  Well he just forwarded me this page today:  https://williamoptics.com/spacecat-limited-edition

Kind of looks interesting.  However I don't know enough about this yet to me a solid judgement.

Could use your help.  What do you think of this thing?

So its a 250mm, f/4.9?   I'll wait for some reviews.

SO, what makes that different from just using your 70-200mm f/2.8 with a 1.4X teleconverter?

I might be wrong, but these are set up for astrophotography, which makes them different from your typical lens right?

Well I'm on the fence.  But just noticed that these are not sold on B&H or Adorama.   Which is kind of a red flag.  Usually these two will have just about any products for sale on them.  Hmmm, well jury is out to lunch now.

So can something like this be used for solar photography?  My husband just got started with solar photography October or might have been November last year.   I'll need to show him this one.

What's funny Frost is I was just about to comment the same.  When I searched Adorama and B&H, no luck either.
