Camera of the DECADE according to Tony Northrup

Interesting thought, but I'm not sure I would agree with him that the Samsung Galaxy NX deserves to hold such a title.

I think they used to say that opinions are a dime a dozen.  He has one.

This decade or last??! A little early to say so for this decade!

Me either any more Effron. Not that I ever really did, but got tired of even bothering to look; just seems to be one more person getting followers and ad revenue etc. without much in the way of helpful opinions or information. Entitled to his opinion I guess.

Good thought, but must be the 20 teens, the twenties technically hasn't begun yet....(1/1/2021)
Good ol' tony also displays  2010 to 2020, which is eleven years and NOT a decade......

I can’t stand watching these guys. They’re pulling topics out of the air to get videos to get views to earn money off of YouTube.

Yes, great tools but it all depends on one's task and/or goals.

When I get a spokeshave for my workshop, it will be pretty
much like the one a carpenter or any woodworker will buy
— raw wood being raw wood for all. The closer that piece of
gets to the planed end results, though, the selection of tools
will vary greatly.

The term "chisel" will fire other images given one is a cabinet
maker or, like me, a passionate but non professional luthier.

There are, just as well, many ways to produce images for many
different tasks and varied finalities… none better for the task but
more appropriate for a final use.

I don't do social media so that kind of connectivity I don't need.
I, ultimately in the wildlife aspect of my work, need a P&S thing…
but one that will let me have control of everything. In this, the
last word of the decade is the D850.

In studio and on location (excluding landscape), the D850 is
overkill but it is the best P&S for wildlife.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I would have assumed the Nikon D850 or Sony a7R IV would have taken this title.
