Fuzzy film photo issue

4 years 2 months ago #673303 by sebastianazua
Hi everyone, I recently got a roll of film developed and the photos in the second half of the roll came out blurry and out of focus. I shot it with a konica c35 so the focus is automatic. I am just wondering what could have caused this so I could avoid it from happening again.

Since the whole first half of the roll came out fine and the second half came out blurry, I'm wondering if the film inside the camera got slightly out of place or something like that. Would that lead to these kind of results? Or should I worry something's wrong with the camera's focusing mechanism? Thanks everyone

Hard to tell, but I had a partial roll of film sour a few times. The two in question just look OOF....

Why so serious?

If this effect occurred in each frame of the last part of the film, rather than an AF problem, I'd suspect a mechanical problem.  Something with the film itself or with the camera's film transport mechanism causing the film to not lay flat in the focal plane.
