Removing micro SD card from GoPro Hero 8??

4 years 3 months ago #673578 by Chris Briggs
Anyone else find getting the card out of this camera to be a royal PITA??  I can't access with my fingers.  Even with the card depressed and sticking out, it's nearly impossible to get out with just your fingers.  What are you doing to easily remove your cards from this camera?

How about a small needle nose pliers, or some plastic tweezers?

Why so serious?

You know what, I have the same issue with it.  The camera is a big step forward from the 7, however getting the card in and out is a challenge.

It doesn't pop out when you press on the end? That's unusual.

It's not that it doesn't pop up Gary.  It's getting your finger down into the spot enough to press it.   I've not been able to reach it once with my finger nail, I'm always using my Apple Pencil or tip of a flat head screw driver.

Other than this, this camera rocks.

Hey Alex, can't you use the door after you have it removed to press down on the card?
