I normally don't go sharing stuff like this, but this ball head seriously looks next level and step forward in ball head technology.

Interesting idea, only bummer is the shipping times are into 2021.  :(

So you unlock it with full range of motion with one hand while adjusting the cameras position, then lock it?

Nikon D700: 50mm, 14-24mm, 85mm, 105mm 70-200mm, 150-500mm (Sigma), SB-900

Too complicated for me. I like the simple one control knob ball head....and I'm cheap.

Why so serious?

It appears to be a clutch system, which isn't new. It appears to be too small, which will be awkward for some. Given that a typical ball head has exactly one knob to set the camera position, and one would still use one hand to hold the camera while the other manipulates the controls, I don't see how this is an improvement over anything.

I guess I would have to handle this before I made final decision.  But for now, I'll stick to what I have.  It looks cool, but I have no need at this point as what I have works for what I need.

Me too, there are some points that sound/look interesting.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

+1, something new like this would require handling first.

Not for me, I'll stick to what I have.  This looks to gimmicky for my taste.

Well first look, kind of cool.  But what if battery dies when you are out and about?  You have then just complicated something that doesn't need to be complicated.

Not sure.

Well it seems to have exceeded it's Kickstarter goal, but it looks a bit bulky.  I don't know, I'm happy where I'm at.

:agree:   I held off on commenting on this and just took another look at it.  I'll just agree and say it's not something I would buy for myself.
