EVF and eye strain

Those of you who have moved to a mirrorless camera, did you have any eye strain when you made the move and looking through a EVF?  Thats one thing I have noticed since picking up this Z6, my eyes feel a a little strained and I was wondering if the electronic viewfinder could be the cause?

I've noticed no difference.

Have you adjusted the dioptre to your eye?

G'day Monica

I've been using EVFs for 15 or so years, & mirrorless for 10 years and have not experienced any "additional" eye strain from their use
I say 'additional' as I do find that as I stare intently into the VF at something small - and for too long - that I do need to take a break from it. But for 99.99% of the time, there is only complete pleasure from using the EVF

The EVFs that I have used have grown from 150,000 dots in a 3mpx camera ~ where I had to put my faith into the end result being clear & sharp, to today's EVF that is so sharp, clear and bright that it out-performs my TV screen at home!

The 'self-regulation' of the EVF where is brightens in dark locations and darkens when the sun is dominant is to me, a great feature. There are so many other great features that I would never return to an optical VF ..... old horse & buggy stuff

Enjoy your new camera :)
