Are you cancelling your photography travels because of coronavirus?

I've been looking at flights and it's tempting to book something short notice for a quick springtime trip. However, concerns with the virus have stopped me from finalizing any plans.

I was looking at international travel cost and things are substantially less than normal.  I was thinking of booking something later this year, and gamble that this will blow over by then.

I ended up cancelling summer trips, the fall trips I'm going to keep active for another month or so.

Europe trip in August was just cancelled. However I'm going to take more local trips.  After all, when I'm out, I'm alone most of the time anyway.

Two location work were plan early this Spring in Italy and Hungary.
Italy was postponed and it doesn't look good for Budapest either.

Well aren't they already working on a cure?

Yes, many labs in many countries are working on
a vaccine… it should not be too far away, I hope!

Working on it and finding it are two totally different things. We just always assume a cure or vaccine will be found. That may not be the case here or at some point in the future with some other deadly disease.

Roger that, then mass production and distribution will take a long time. Expect no cure very soon.

+1 exactly.  Look at HIV/AIDS, how long it look to come up with medicine for that.

In terms of travel?  I don't think any of us will have many options soon.

Yeah, we're getting cancellations from everywhere lately. In time we'll all be affected.
