Older Lenses

Can older Tamron AF Lenses be used on newer digital DSLRs like Nikon or Canon.  My old film camera was a Nikon N50 that had several auto focus lenses.  I am hoping Ican still be used with new Nikon digital 35mm  DSLRs that are on the market today.

Most can but some can't... Try them out to find out for sure...Many of my older lenses are not 3rd party though and fit my DSLRs just fine. In some cases, functionality is limited. As for older AF 3rd party lenses, I have had no issues...

Scott is correct, and the older af lenses might be painfully slow compared to the modern glass though.....

A friend who lives a few houses down from me uses all older vintage lenses, all are manual.  As I understand some will show aperture, while others will not.
