Got a paid gig shooting food for restaurant!

4 years 1 week ago #681418 by Paul Velasco
FYI, I started calling up restaurants because more and more people are having to order from websites for take out.  Got my first restaurant who wants me to come in and look at their menus to photograph all their take out food to update their website.

Just sharing this, it was my 3rd call, so you might want to try calling some around you and offering the same.  Social distancing will be enforced.  $$$$ first job in a month!  AHHH and it's a decent one.

LOL I was going to say the same thing.  Get the $$ in hand, then do back flips.

You should have them just deliver the food to you, that way you don't need to leave the house.

Canon 7D, 15-85mm, 18-55mm, 70-200mm, 100mm Macro, Sigma 120-300mm, Speedlite 430EX II

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office

I would only do it if the food was deliver to home.  Stay safe and congrats on the work!

Not a bad idea.  I agree, have the food deliver so you can take the photos from your home.  That way you don't need to worry about disinfecting your surroundings.
