Missed an amazing sunset today

I ALWAYS have my camera with me.  Today I had to run to the store quick for  my wife.  On the way there, the sun was setting and man, it was one of the most scenic sunsets I have seen!  But no camera, really kicker was my iPhone was even left home!

:pinch:

Considering recent times, I have missed plenty of those.  I think we all have.  But I do feel for you.  Nothing is worse than missing beautiful light!    Always next time.   :)

You're doing the right thing in having your gear at hand all the time.
Just don't forget, like Ira says, there is always a next time — that's
the spirit of image hunting.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I'm with you there, been missing a lot more these days.  This morning managed to get out, however not a good opportunity for decent shot.  But the fresh air was nice.

My buddy photographed one in Gainesville Florida from last week, the sky was the most red I've ever seen.

We are not morning people and today we managed to get up early and catch the sunrise.  No photos, just enjoyed the experience.  I feel charged and ready to go!
