Video is no longer live, I had seen it yesterday on another site.  I hope they catch the pilot who was flying the drone.  Bad move and reckless.

I watched it yesterday, and apparently many, many, very stupid people that can't be bothered to read gave him a very hard time about his drone foolishness.

Problem being, he didn't create the video.

The video wasn't by him, he nabbed it from the fool that actually made it, and in the notes on the YT page he called out the videographer by name. Said that he'd been already been caught and was dealing with the consequences of his actions.

Which doesn't excuse the TL;DR folks who cast blame where none belonged. I really can't roll my eyes enough at this.

So for everyone that can't be bothered to read a thread (no, not directed at anyone here, just people in general) before commenting on it, how about you keep your comments to yourself and move along?

Huh?  Keep comments to myself?  Well screw that, this is America.  I saw the video and saw what the guy wrote.  Either way, voicing opinion of that sort of stupidity is our right.  Plus, what did the poster expect when posting crap like that?  REGARDLESS that he didn't take the video.  Likely hoping they could earn a few bucks off the video to bail his buddy out of jail.

Oh, for crying out loud. Please read what I wrote, including the final paragraph. No, my comments were absolutely not directed to you, or anyone in particular.

Yeah I know that!  LOL My statement was in general as well, no offense was taken  AT ALL.  But seriously, the moron who posted that, what sort of response did he expect from the public?  Again, as far as I'm concerned, he is just as guilty for posting that.  Clearly he knew what was up.

G'day fellas

I don't know anything about this incident nor the responses in your U.S. media ....... however it has become such an issue around the world that "the authorities" are taking serious steps to deter these irresponsible drones -and- their aircraft.

A week or two back I saw a doco from UKs Heathrow Airport which was closed to air traffic on two occasions over 3 days because someone's drone was inside the airport fenceline and flying across the commercial airliner's flight paths

Heathrow are now designing an electronic -kill- system that supposedly / hopefully will force any drone to crash land as soon as it enters their security areas. Time will tell as to its success

It won't be long before law makers tighten up the drone laws further.

I think Moss should have been more clear on why he uploaded that then.

But this sums it up wisely - "Regardless of who played what role, posting the footage in a public forum was almost as unwise as taking it."
