Stand up desk for under $1000?

3 years 10 months ago #686292 by Karen Comella
I know what I'm going to spend my stimulus check on.  A stand up desk!

Would you happen to know what is the best I can get for under $1000?  I would be looking for something around 30" deep and 60 to 70" wide.  Hard wood of some sort.  Like a Walnut.

Most of what I've seen is well under 1000$
nothing said on pure gold hardware though.

Are you using one yourself?  Something you can recommend please?

Yes, I got one I made myself, integrating elements
I had at hand at the time so cannot recommend a
specific product.

Oh no, I'm not looking to make one.  Honestly, I'm afraid of how it might turn out!

Thank you, I know that.  But before making an investment like this, I was hoping to get recommendations on which was most used and endorsed by other photographers.

My experience values two features:

1, stability
2, hight adjustment

What does that mean? I'm not sure "photography" has anything to do with stand-up desks.

What matters is ease of height adjustment, reliability/lifespan, size of workspace, and style. I mean, did you consider "what other photographers endorse" when you bought your current desk?

I want one so bad, but will have to wait till finances get back to normal.  The problem is, I would need something that was a good 60" wide, which get's so expensive with these sort of desks.

Those tops look really nice.  But what is the life span of the legs?
