Photography Trek & Adventures - Joshua Tree 2020

3 years 6 months ago #698265 by Alex
I recently headed out to Joshua Tree National Park to get some epic shots of the Milky Way. Joshua Tree is known for its dark skies (and hot temperatures), but I was willing to test the heat index to get the shots I've been dreaming of. In this latest edition of Photography Trek and Adventures, follow along as I head out there, get camp set up, and get my adventure on. There were a lot of obstacles along the way - stinky outhouses, rattlesnakes, and hazy skies among them - but learning to adapt, overcome, and persevere is as valuable a lesson as any!

Interesting stuff Alex, do you have a map on what locations you are heading too this year?  Joshua tree is one incredible place!

Sick set up Alex.  You mind me asking what was the reason you went with a hard shell tent vs soft?

I've found some time to dive back into photos Alex. Sweet video. You still mirrorless all the way?

Oh @#$%!!

Scotty how the heck are you?!  Thank you for the kind words.  Yes... all mirrorless, actually I jumped to Canon.  Actually didn't you move back to Canon some time ago, or was that Ninja?

Entertaining, for me, I would have picked up an hotel.  I don't do well in heat.  When is your next video going to be released?
