Grand Canyon?  Man, such a marvel.  I was planning on going back in April of this year, but had to cancel.  The B&W looks incredible.

Go when you can. I know it's a bit hard to fly right now.

So much going on here.  I'm digging the light rays and the range of light you have showing here.  Can't hurt that the building and trains are so stinking cool.   How close are you able to get to these trains?

You can walk up and touch them. You can get pretty close. They used to allow me to pretty much do anything I want there access wise. It's been awhile though.

New parent?  You haven't taken a break from photography.  How many photos are on your iPhone?

Congrats on the little one!  We have two kids and they are a blast!  I think once my son got around your kids age, they start becoming more fun.  Did you end up getting out with your camera?

Back in 2005, I had a 2 year break from photography.  When I got back in, it was refreshing and so much enjoyable.  Actually for me, I had family issues prior, and photography just became a drag.  Things cleared up, and my schedule did as well just over 2 years after.  I've had such a deeper appreciation and enjoyment for photography since.

Welcome back!
