Have you ever jumped from one camera brand to another?

counter views to oppose influencers' loud noises. In a stagnent market, no-
thing is better for the industrial economy than new tendencies and this is
where hypes weight in.

At this point, I don't see much more than very marginal benefits over the
dSLR system in minor aspects and major flaws in others.

If you want to invest in new gear, stores have not much new to offer than
the newer stuff… if they want to sell.

Thank you for your response.  I do have to ask, most major camera companies are focusing so heavily on mirrorless and ditching their mirrored cameras.  How can this be hype?

I did more so when I was shooting film early on but then settled on Nikon. I currently have 3 Nikon DSLRs and 4 Olympus mirrorless cameras. Plus too many lenses and adapters and other gear to list. I started out with Minolta but went to Konica (film) when my Minolta (film) gear was stolen.

The last years saw a stagnation of the DSLR sales. The only way they thought
to reactivate the sales is coming up with new gear of another kind.

Just imagine Sony coming up with a new DSLR in the stagnant market.

It is a very good answer, Ian.

After a while, one gets comfortable with a system. So much so that
it is easy to expect given results and that is the base of a workflow.
