Photographers becoming more introverted?

2 years 4 days ago #736451 by Ira Weber
I have been going to various photography meetups for years and one thing that I've noticed is that there seems to be more and more introverted photographers.  I'm certainly no psychologist, and have no certificate on my wall that states I'm even qualified to diagnose or speak on this subject, but seriously I think there are more introtroverts as of late.

Do you feel that way?

Behind the camera is always a witness that, by definition, is rarely
taking part in the recorded action. I am not sure that it makes the
photographer an introverted personality but certainly an observer.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Interesting topic, I've always been one that prefers to be out alone.  I'm not into shooting in a group, to many people talk and I just want to focus on my shot.  So does that make me an introvert or focused?

hmmmm, I don't think so.  There have always been introverts, if anything I think social media connects people.
