This is an older article, but I just found it.  Good reminder, when in doubt, don't wait:  www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/busin...ster-1235053811/amp/

The problem is, he waited too long.

It's a pity it comes to this... using someone elses work, claiming it as your own and not paying royalties. It's not like the film company doesn't have the money. It's just bad business.

I wonder how this translates to the chap that has been ripping of PT? Can he - after three years - also continue releasing it as his own work?

I was thinking the same thing.   When you look at the crap people can sue for (which we are reminded each day we turn on the news), unfortunately that this isn't one of them.

Seriously?  Why did he wait so darn long?  Seems like he walked into that door.

I wonder if the guy was just trilled about having his photo used there for bragging rights back in the day, then that vanity wore off, then he wanted just to get paid for the work?  :pinch:

If he responded earlier, he would have easily won this.

So can he add this to his resume of accomplishments then?

Very good example of, you shouldn't put off crap like this!

Really?  Surprised that he couldn't find a way to get this locked down.  Considering the popularity of the movie, but then again, perhaps there is more going on here.
