In CS6 my Paint Brush marker disappears depending on the background color

It is so frustrating, that I left it as impossible; using the paintbrush, as I move my cursor through the image, depending on the background color and lightness, I find it than when transiting between lighter colors and slightly darker ones, the marker, circle with a cross just seems to disappear. It actually turns to a grey that you almost can't see, specially with high resolution monitors (3840 x 2100), where all pointers and markers become very small anyway.
Is there a way to increase the visibility of the brush marker, or avoid it from chaging from white to dull grey? Or maybe changing the dull grey to a bright orange...  ; )
Best regards,

I don't know of a way to do it in CS6, but changing the cursor color in Windows is possible, and it might work in CS6 after the change. I changed my Windows 10 cursor to a yellow/orange and it has helped with my work in Windows and other programs. I'm using Affinity Photo now for photo editing and haven't been having this problem yet, but do remember the frustration of using an earlier version of Photoshop and having this problem, but I never tried to fix it. Back then I complained to the deaf ears of Adobe, which did no good. If your computer is an Apple, I think their operating system also allows for cursor color change, but again it may not change it in Photoshop. I no longer use Adobe Photoshop, so I can't look for a more direct solution for you. Changing the cursor color in your operating system may work or may not for your problem. You will just need to try it to find out.

Have you tried increasing the size of the brush?
