Do you under expose photos from camera?

But you can do that in camera OR in post.  Doesn't it make sense to do this all in post?  That way you retain more of both sides?

Nearly all the time while shooting in manual mode.  But just play it by ear.

When shooting in manual, I will normally expose a tad under for brighter shots, however as the sun goes down, my exposure usually get’s on center.  Actually sunsets I’ll still underexposing, but I’m using a reverse ND filter as well.

I have bben a bit busy. Covid year I had 4 brain surgeries. Doing OK now but was really tied to home by Covid and the docs. Have been spending time learning editing in both Affinity and Luminar.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
