Formatting a new CF card that gets cut its size in half??

Make sure your camera supports CF cards of such a large capacity. For example, my old Kodak camera only supported CF cards up to 4GB. Even with the firmware upgrade, it would only support 8GB filesystems.
Really?? There are limitations on how big of card you can place in the camera? That is weird.
