copyright question

I took my pictures to Wal-Mart to have some of my photos copied and the person at the counter told me I had to have a copyright letter from the photographer saying it was ok for me to copy the photos since it was a professional shot. I was flattered she thought my photos were that good but when I told her I was the photographer she didn't believe me and wanted proof. How can I give her proof when I don't have any business cards and don't have a need to get any just yet.

First, Popular Photography featured in May 2006 A test of 10 online photo labs and out of the 10 walmart rank lowest. Before I discovered Costco, I ran some tests & I'd rate my local drugstores at the bottom, but Wallmart isn't much better.
My results were not good the one time I needed a fast print & there was no Costco near. I screwed up & only ordered one print when I wanted 5. So I placed a 2nd order within about 10 minutes. One print from the same file was WAY too dark. The other 4 were too light with a LOT of contrast. Remember, this was from the SAME FILE?

Second, I think they have a form that you can have signed by the photographer to give permission to print the image.

I've never had this happen, I would ask to speak to the manager.
