Automatic sensor cleaning

13 years 4 months ago #6719 by Gabriel Photos
Don't these camera's have a automatic sensor cleaning built into them? I thought I recall either hearing this or reading this somewhere. I have a Nikon D80.

So assuming that this camera does have a automatic sensor cleaning, how is it doing it? Is it done with some sort of mechanical movement or electronically? How detailed is this or should the sensor still be manually cleaned from time to time?

Some do & some don't. I don't believe the D80 does...

From my understanding it's pretty much the middle to upper end camera's will have automatic cleaning feature built in.

I don't need no stink'in Signature! ha ha ha
