If you think your current camera is great, why are you wanting to switch?

That is a great question! I get caught up in the "mine is bigger and better and knew" crud I suppose.

I LOVE my Nikon D90, but I've only had 2 DSLR's so not the most experience - but again if you love your current camera stick with it. Also invest in good LENSES :)

I also shoot with a D90, and I love it. If you have a great camera, and have invested in lenses for it, I'm not sure I understand why you'd want to start all over? Sounds like an expensive proposition to me, LOL!

If you learn to use your camera, it won't matter what brand. If you have anything invested in lenses and accessories, you should stick with the Canon.
I shoot D300/D700, btw......:)

Why so serious?

Good responses here, and I agree as well - why switch brands? The Canon lenses and accessories you already have won't work on the Nikon body. Canon makes the 50D which is similar in construction and features to the D90, and you'll be able to keep that 70-300 ;)
