I know my D200 is weather sealed, but I still have a habit of covering it with my hat as soon as it starts sprinkling. lol

Well I have had mine look like the second one before. Snow squalls are hell sometimes. The D300 is pretty weather proof as was my lens. I just used a paint brush and dusted it off. If my cameras cant take abuse then why have them?
