Just to see what cameras do what.

This is ISO 12,800 from a d3s.

Adrian I know you have some crazy 100,000+ shots, so when you get on post'em up!

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.

Great shot, I have a Nikon D90 my ISO settings won't come close to that!

For some reason it won't post the whole picture, its' cropping it. hmm.

Edit: Fixed it there we go. ISO 25,600 incoming!

This was taken at 1600 iso on my dinky litle Nikon D70, it was at a heavy metal gig, in an extremely dark room with coloured gels flashing everywhere, my Nikon D300 goes up to iso3200, will try it out and check the results.

How fast of shutter speed were you able to get with 1600 ISO?

no it isnt Scotty, but they guy loved the photo and bought it so hey, this was in my early days and I did struggle as the camera isnt anything like a pro model, but overall the band were delighted, I purposely didnt want to use flash as it wud have destroyed the atmosphere I was looking for, I was down around 1-15th handheld most of the evening, and my ears took some severe bashing with the noise levels, but I was loving every minute of the atmosphere
