My Wedding Photography website...

Welp, about time for me to throw my site into the ring.

I'm a wedding photographer out of Minneapolis, MN ... though I routinely travel throughout the entire midwest to photograph weddings. I keep my volume pretty low and tend to work with people that really value the documentation of their wedding day rather than the people that simply hire a wedding photographer 'because they need one'... it was a risky business decision, but it's turned out really great.

I also do a fair bit of travel photography, but that hasn't paid very well for a myriad of reasons I won't get into here.

Here is my Wedding Photography site ...

I must admit a bit of laziness... I don't have a single 2011 image on my main site, but I'm still happy with the stuff that is there. (maybe I'll use this thread as impetus to make some additions... heh) Comments or critiques (especially constructive critisim -- I'm ALWAYS looking for a objective observer to give me ways to improve) are very welcome.

Here is my blog: www.federerphotography.com/blog -- though it's linked from my main page too.

Again, any input or criticism (general or specific) is very appreciated...

Great site and pics :judge:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Yeah, I also avoid the dynamic content technology with the most market penetration on the entire web as well... that's why I never go to sites like youtube, cnn, amazon, hulu or the other 47% of top sites on the web (according to Cnet). That dastardly Flash and it's easy dissemination of content...grrr... avoiding it makes it so hard for me to use the web ... but it's worth it because... uhm...

:rolleyes

Thanks!

For those that use crippled browsers I'll likely reprogram an alternative site to HTML5 if I ever get time this season... :-/

Honestly, the site is not as good as your photos. It's not terrible... but not great either. Your photos are inspiring!!

Fantastic site and tons of great photos. I love flash sites. I know there are issues with compatibility but they are so seamless and free flowing! Do you ever do any prints on canvas for your clients? Thanks

Yes, I do. I'd say about 90% of my print revenue comes through canvas wraps in one form or another. 20x30 and 16x24 being the most common. The largest we've done to date is a 55x36 made from a D300. Upressed with genuine fractals, it actually came out much better than one would expect from a 12mpx DX sensor. We were lucky that the content of the image lent itself to good upressing.
