I being a photographer have an idea of design and layout, not the best of course, but a good idea anyways, or at least I like to think.
Please take a look at our website, I built this myself, and let us know fi there is anything you feel takes away.
We are all professionals, bidding for the same work sometimes, but when it comes down to it, we are all professionals in an industry of progression in knowledge, and need to work together to push both the industry and the art.

Perhaps if you were to insert a working link, folks might take a look?

Using Google I was able to find your Web Page. My suggestion is kill the audio! I think you will find when people are online they maybe at work or in a room where family members are watching TV, they do not want music blasting from there tablet or laptop. For me I was listening to a podcast which was stopped while your music played.

Page looks good :beerbang:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

I come from a print background and being truthful I find the layout fussy, there is too much going on within the pages, I'm not keen on the ornate background and think the services, product Etc. menu's on each page overkill, sorry

To my eye something like this would grab my attention with its simplicity

ya im not sure what the purpose of putting white spaces in your sites url was... unless you dont want this site associated with it...

As for the website... i think the biggest drawback is that "footer" you have. Theres really no need to put 5 inches of white space at the bottom with huge credit card logos. honestly it just looks crappy.

make the cc logos smaller and put them in a box on the green section.

then turn the rest of that white space into a proper footer.

FYI , folks. The PT software prevents someone from posting a link until a specified number of posts have been made. This is to prevent spamming and unauthorized advertising.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

whats interesting is that no such music plays when i load his site. I dont see any music player controls either? a video player loads on the index page for me, but it doesnt start automatically...

And thanks for the info Baydream. I wasnt aware of that.

OK...I did go take a look. For me, the slide show moves too fast...reminded me of trying to look at scenery close to the road while riding behind my husband on his motorcycle. I'd suggest picking out a tune with a slower beat? ( Younger folks might have no problem, though? )
