Hi guys,

I am so sorry if you someone has already spoken about this as I couldnt locate any information ...

I have just got an A77 from Japan, worked whole day until just now... I was testing/taking picture of a new recipe of some food I was making,
one shot took extra long to process, as I thought it might have
freezed, I switched off and switched back on.... The viewfinder became
all green when it is on Auto focus, Red when its on Manual .... Please
please please help me ... What could this be and can it be fixed???
thank you in advance ...

Did you try a hard reset?

1. Turn off A77.
2. Take out battery.
3. Insert battery again.
4. Press these 3 buttons (Menu+Movie+Ael) simultaneously.
5. Turn on A77 and keep the 3 buttons pressed for 5 seconds. There will be a green spot "blinks" on the lower left corner of the LCD screen. Then "alpha logo" should show up again.

Check and clean lens connection. Check for contact damage.
