Sony A6400 Color Science

What does everyone think of the new color science in the Sony A6400? Do you think the colors are more or less realistic than other Sony cameras, Canon, Fuji, Nikon, etc?

I just moved from the a6300 to the a6400 10 days ago, so far the colors seem to be ok out of the box.  They are easy to work with and on close to on the spot.  As nice as my D850 or Z7?  No, but close and manageable in post.

Is your mirrorless replacing the d850?

Hey Scotty!

Great question, the Z7 is bad ass, but not a replacement for my  D850.  D850 is just that good and I really enjoy the camera to much.  I was just in Moscow and Turkey and the only cameras I bought was the Z7 and a6400 because of size.

I was looking at the a6400 and correct me if I'm wrong, it's similar to the a6500 with the exception that the a6500 has the IBIS and the a6400 doesn't?

Canon 7D, 18-55mm, 55-250mm, 70-200mm L f/2.8, 100mm and 17-55mm f/2.8

Very similar.   Autofocus rocks with 425 detection points compared to the a6500 with 169.  Now the a6500 does have the exclusive in body stabilization.  But the a6400 has a LCD screen that will flip over 180 degrees, which is great for vlogging and framing yourself up in a shot.  The a6400 does have a tad better ISO range.

I´m looking for an APS-C camera to complement my A9 - i was looking at the A6400, but cant help thinking the A7000 will be out soon with possibly more resolution, and better ISO kind of like how the D500 is to the D850.
