Jpegs completly without detail. RAWs are fine

Hi Everyone!

I am sure I must have done something but I went to shoot my A7iii with 70-200 2.8 on Friday evening at an American high school football game. I was shooting at 2.8 aperture mode auto ISO. When I got home all my jpegs have no detail and terrible color while the RAW files are just fine. I have never run into this before. I am sure I might have accidentally changed a setting but I have no idea :)  I am going to reset the camera back to default but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what I have done? Nothing obvious to me.

Thanks!

David

If it was high ISO, camera will murder details for noise correction in jpegs, RAWs don't do that.

When I shoot sports, I set up the camera to Auto ISO, M mode,
Auto WB, work with BBF and never turn on VR. These are fixed
snd the rest, ƒ and SS are the only things I have to worry about.

Since I don't work for sports agencies, I don't shoot jpgs.

I'm guessing he's shooting in high ISO.

Possibly, Scotty, but without seeing a sample… no guessing from me!
