ND filter for Sony RX100 VII?

I just got this camera and love it, but only problem I can see so far is that you can't screw on or attach a ND filter.  Am I missing something here?  Seems like a engineering goof on Sonys part??

G'day MIke

I don't consider it's a 'design goof' as the camera lens is the design that fully retracts into itself when you power 'off'. This is common to all (that I know of) similar cameras

If you wish to add filters of any sort to the lens you will need to locate a design that is push-on / pull-off, but in this case I do not know how long the zoom lens motors will tolerate the push-pull operations

From a design point of view, Sony's design team will start with a bunch of specs - one of which will be "what's the sort of user we area selling this camera to"? ... and that's the slip-in-the-pocket brigade ~ not necessarily the advanced user

Hope this helps

Wait why are you going with the RX100?  Why not the Sony ZV-1?  That one is made for video specifically.  I have the Canon G7X and it's autofocus SUCKS.  I might just pick up one of these ZV-1s myself.
