Drag Racing!

12 years 9 months ago #110016 by BCP
Not sure if any of you shoot drag racing at all, or are even familiar with the sport. Having raced in a national drag racing series myself along with a lifelong love of the sport, it was only natural that I have this as subject matter. Just wanted to share a few photos with you guys, feel free to comment, critique, etc.

Thanks for looking!

I agree. Stellar work, with good comp and moments captured.

Matthew :)

PS my last assignment is to "photograph what you love". It makes a big difference in how you see things, and can take you from a good to a great photographer. You see it in rob's hockey pics too.

Thanks everyone, I greatly appreciate all of the feed back! Also good to see others that like drag racing!

I mostly shoot 'Outlaw' type racing in multiple regional series and radial tire race classes as well. Unforntunately this year I've had to miss most of the events I typically shoot, but I do try to get to my local track when possible; luckily they have GREAT lighting for shooting flashless at night.
