RIAT 2011 - Apaches

More from yesterday and a couple more posts to follow as I work through the different types of aircraft (too many shots to do one big hit lol).

Was quite happy with the Apache shots although I don't understand why the rotors have dissapeared on a couple of the shots, here's a couple for your feedback...

Awesome shots... The rotors disappear at the slower (1/60th) shutter speeds. Speeds above say 1/250th start to display the number of blades. It also has to do with the RPM of the rotor and number of blades. :judge:

Brilliant! Guess the weather wasn't too bad this year then?

I parked up at 7:20am, nearly left to go home at 10am as it was heavy rain but the weather forecast lived up to it's word and with the sun all afternoon I now feel like rudolph :)
