Thanks for the approval. It's great to get approval from a fellow hockey photographer.

You got some nice action shots - and portraits, I like those.

Looks like the one has a bit of fog but I'm guessing it's the glass - been there... :rolleyes. Don't you love it when you find a nice clear portion of glass and that's right where they hit the boards or kick up some spray?? LOL Never fails...

That one was where I was not only shooting through glass, but having to shoot at an angle through the glass. I hate those, but that's where the action was.

Those players never cooperate and 'pose' where you want them! You know I wondered with the angle you get sometimes if it's because you're standing somewhere at an odd angle. Sometimes the tunnels etc. depending on the arena can slope kind of weird, or you end up stuck in between seats and a post and have like a few inches to work with. Aren't old hockey barns great.

This is actually at a new arena. However, the kind of glass they have is great as long as you're shooting straight out. At angles though, it's a problem. Another photographer as at a better location for shooting where I wanted, so I had to take this other location.

Great shots. Blacks a bit crushed though, but that's JMHO. :)

Oh, I have seen some replacement panes of glass that give a really odd warped effect - don't know how to even describe it. That could limit you having to shoot straight thru the glass. Boy that could be worse than shooting thru old scratched up gunky glass, at least you can work around the smudges. Yeah, sometimes you gotta work around people, have had to do that too.
