Yep - called SUP- Stand Up Paddle locally, most users keep to the rivers and estuary and just enjoy a 'paddle', but this fella decided to be a bit more adventurous

nup - there is a long rocky breakwater extending out to sea covering the entrance to the harbour - and it makes the task of 'shooting surfers' much easier. 

It also occasionally gives me extras like this ...
