Tabletop product photography

I am hoping someone can help me with my horrid photos of bottles taken with the MyStudio PS5.  I need a white background but it always comes out gray/blue.  I have tried different exposures but if the background is white, the item is overexposed beyond editing, and when the item is properly exposed, the background is too dark.  Also the photos are out of focus and the depth of field is too shallow. I have seen product photos that are perfectly exposed with a beautiful white background so I know it is possible, though I have little experience with this sort of indoor photography.  Can anyone help?  Here are the stats and some photo examples.  The PS5 has a continuous 5000K 110v light and I added 2 120v 25 watt lights on the background.  I'm shooting with a Nikon D50 with a 18-55mm lens (also have a Nikon D7100 with a 18-200mm lens), these photos were taken with an ISO of 200, f4 - 5.6, 1/20 - 1/30sec and 24 - 31 focal length.

Product photography isn't my expertise, but have you tried making edits in Lightroom or Photoshop? A lot of the beautiful images have a lot of post processing behind them, and I think that some work with highlights, shadows, and color correction with a little bit of clone stamping could make a world of a difference with these.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I was unable to correct these photos with Photoshop Elements. I have had some success with the clone stamp but really that takes too much time when you have a lot of photos to edit. I have not tried Lightroom but maybe I need to.

Use one light just for the background, and do not use the umbrella for that light!!!  Instead use a common bowl shaped reflector.  Links for ideas -
