I was thinking of making the local mountain lion (Puma, Cougar, etc) a trained pet, but my wife and the "North Woods Law" officers persuaded me to forget the idea.....

Morning all.  Puma would be cool.  That means my cat can finally kick the $@^% out the the neighbors dog that keeps barking.  ha ha ha

When I see one, I might run away.

We have a Cougar family living on the hill (small mtn) behind my house. They are elusive, only proof is the footprints they leave following a snowfall. That and possibly the pets that sometimes disappear from time to time.....and if they see you as prey, the worst thing you can do is run away.
