Wild animals are further noth. Some game farms 120 miles away, but the huge Kruger National Park is about 1200 miles away. Best to fly there.

Pinkie, as long as you do not bring it along. Our African mini-taxis would have it for breakfast. 
I work in summer, free most of our winter. Lots of time.

No, it is not easy. 
You get border posts who will find a way for bribes. 
If you do not pay, it might take a few days...
Some very bad roads.
Lots of planning to avoid turmoil. 
And: A descent budget.
Those who did says it’s worth it!
