When do you mellow?

I'm older than you, and to answer your "mellow" question, I'm still waiting I guess.

A good wine does sound good, well not this early in the day.  Perhaps at dinner.  What do you prefer, red or whites?

I prefer red with some foods, white for others and vodka if I want to just cripple brain cells.

Beer on a hot day, white wine with good food on a warm day, red wine with food on a cold day.
Last time I had spirits was in my student days. I can not afford to kill the few living brain cells.
